Protection
SimpleClaimSystem
FreeChunk-based land protection. Players claim territory, you decide what they can do inside it.
What it does
Servers where people build need a way to stop other people from taking it apart. SimpleClaimSystem gives every player a claim they own chunk by chunk, and around thirty switches to decide who may open a chest, ride a horse or break a block inside it. Claims appear on Dynmap, BlueMap and Pl3xMap, Bedrock players get the same menus through Geyser, and inactive claims can be purged on a schedule. Free and open source.
Worth knowing
- Claim by the chunk
- One chunk at a time, or a square radius around you. Claims can be merged, extended and sold back.
- Thirty-odd switches per claim
- Chests, doors, redstone, mob damage, fire spread — each one on or off, per claim, through a GUI.
- Visible on your map
- Dynmap, BlueMap and Pl3xMap all draw claim borders, with a separate style for anything up for sale.
- Bedrock gets the same menus
- Geyser and Floodgate players see native forms rather than a broken chest inventory.
- Runs on Folia
- Region-thread aware, so it works on Folia as well as Paper, Spigot, Purpur and Pufferfish.
- Imports from GriefPrevention
- Existing claims come across rather than being redrawn by hand.
